Summary of Research
The research of this programme investigates bone growth and development in animals with a focus on the control of growth plate chondrocyte and osteoblast differentiation and the mineralisation of their matrix. We have specific interests in the genetic and endocrine control of skeletal development. Building on current knowledge and expertise my research intentionally benefits from applications in both animal and human biology.
